Fujifilm has developed the X-Trans CMOS sensor to produce high-quality images with rich colour, tonality and dimensionality. The company’s unique colour filter array suppresses moiré and false colours without an optical low-pass filter while also achieving high resolution comparable to the 35 mm full-size sensor.
